Micro Box – Music room Hampshire

Our smallest off the shelf 2.4 x 2.4 Micro Box kit has had a few bespoke tweaks and has been completed in Hampshire. With Western Red Cedar Cladding and Rationel Alu Clad sliding doors this super insulated 150mm Sips Box provides a great space for the kids to practise their music away from the house and in a sound proof Box. One very happy family… plus great comments about the quality of the product and the team that built it for them!

Micro Lodge Box – Truro

A complete turnkey Micro lodge has been our latest completed project with the Box encompassing a open plan living space including a comprehensive kitchen with integrated appliances, a neat contemporary shower room and a twin bedroom. Finished in a great contemporary mixture of agricultural concrete and Siberian Larch the exterior works well within it’s rural setting and tucked down into the landscape it will blend into the surroundings. A fabulous space that the client was more than delighted with from Building with Boxes!

A Modus Office Box heads the from the west up to Scotland!

A bespoke design based on the Modus Garden Box. The complete build was fabricated in Truro and delivered up to Scotland. Looking for the high quality and service that BWB are known for, the client was delighted that his new stylish office could be delivered as a flat pack system, with all the elements of the build rolled into a ready to assemble package. The 150mm SIPS shell offered him the airtightness, warmth and longevity he was looking for to combat the inclement weather in the wilds of Scotland. The Canadian Western Red Cedar cladding and Alu Clad Rationel windows and doors provided a low maintenance contemporary exterior. Our team headed up to erect the shell, complete the installation of the windows / doors, finish the exterior cladding and add the EPDM roofing. The client completed the internal fit out… A superb project according to the our customer!

A Learning space – Devon

We had an urgent appeal from a school looking for a learning space for a special needs child. This request required a fast turnaround, a craneable solution and ultimately deliver a warm, long term space for teaching and learning. BWF took up the challenge! In two weeks we built and delivered a 150mm SIPS Box complete with Thermowood D external cladding, Rationel Alu Clad energy efficient windows & doors, heating and lighting. Producing a finished space that ticked all the boxes. Craned in the day before the school re opened for term time, the recipients were delighted… though there were a few nervous moments as the Box soared over the existing building and into it’s space. That’s what we call a quality accurate build!

Bespoke Artists Studio. Devoran. Cornwall

Brief from the client was to construct a super insulated outdoor space for use as an artists studio. Extra windows were added to the rear of the Box to ensure the studio had the sunlight as it moved around the garden through the day. The cladding chosen was a batten which complimented the more rustic feel of the property and its surroundings. The fibre glass roof was added and the build was quickly completed by the BWB team leaving the client to finish and furnish the interior to his own chosen specifications.

Views over the river

Our client was looking to maximise their views over the river and complete a garden room that they could enjoy using all year round. Using energy efficient 150mm SIPS and clad in Canadian Western Red Cedar, the external elevations had several static glazed full height windows and Rationel Alu Clad double glazed sliding doors. To complete the build, a small extended cantilevered deck was added and created a real feeling of inside/outside. Three weeks construction time included ground works and internal fit out.

Peace and quiet at the bottom of the garden

The client needed space away from his young family to work from home in peace and quiet. A spot at the bottom of the garden enabled him to create a super insulated office with extra acoustic insulation added internally . The Modus Box allows work space as well as room to hold a meeting. Rationel alu clad sliding doors offer thermal efficiency as well as security.
